I’ve been a freelance writer and editor for over 15 years, and in that time have built a reputation as a friendly and reliable source of expertise for an international selection of clients and agencies. I'm a native British English speaker and a graduate of Cambridge University, where I studied English Literature and won awards for my editing work for my college literary society. I have strong academic research skills and have studied advanced linguistics, anthropology, journalism and subediting, teaching and creative writing. I have also studied a wide range of modern and medieval languages (to a variety of levels!) including:

I live in sunny Hastings, on the south coast of England, with my translator husband and our young daughter. In my spare time I'm studying creative writing at university level with the Creative Writing Programme in Brighton, and working on my first novel.
